    I have a 18-month-old Lenovo laptop running Windows 11. In the last few weeks it appears to have developed a serious overheating problem. No software seems to allow manual fan control, as previous iterations of Windows did. I am running Microsoft Word, a browser window with ~5 tabs, zotero, slack, discord, and adobe acrobat. The laptop has handled far heavier loads before without issue. The Speedfan utility shows all cores to be between 60 and 65C, and Temp1 Motherboard? is at 80C consistently. Reading on the internet suggests these are concerning. I have run a disk cleanup utility. There ar

    Your graphics card is crashing. It might be caused by heat during gaming. Do you overclock your graphics card? See if you can increase your fan speeds on the card during gaming.
