Windows 10: How do I increase the font size of my dialogue boxes?

Hi,I am using Windows 11. How do I increase the font size of my dialogue boxes? They are too small to read. I have set the scale settings to 150% and increase the text size of my display settings but these methods does not change the text size of the dialogue boxes at all. Please help. Thank you.

A simple increase in the size of font for menus, title and dialogue messages.

1 What were the recent changes made on your computer before you experienced this issue?

As stated this happened
again with the installation of Build 1709 version 16299.64 a few days ago. It started was present with previous builds. And all
locations to change text size for titles, dialogue text, menus, and tabs are no longer present in build 1709. Locations to change text size have changed
over and over with each build and they are never easily found even with search.

My God, this is change text size, something people should be able to do easily.

2 Are you using the Registry to change your font settings?

There was nothing other available to do the change until I found
Change Menus Text Size in Windows 10 Windows 10 Customization Tutorials located at this site, which worked perfectly fine until build 1709. Other then that I have made
no changes to the "Registry"

3 What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Are you kidding, there are no troubleshooting steps to changing the text size. Find the "should be there directions" follow them and have the change work.

4 Did you receive any error message?

No error messages ever received.

Can you restore your font settings to default?

Default is what I'm seeing now, I believe it is size 9 font,
that is too small for my tired old eyes.

Back to original question, how do I increase the size from 9 to say 12 font size? Why is it so hidden, why does it change so often. All forum, and tech help sites direct you to instructions that are no longer valid for this build. Has anybody there ever
tried to increase the text size for drop down menus, tabs, info in dialogue boxes,am I the only person who ever wanted to increase text size????....Any help would be appreciated.....

Have looked through many questions. I just had my work computer upgraded to Windows 11. When I open a file, either through Word, Excel, etc., or use Windows Explorer, or try to insert a photo -- the dialogue box that pops up with the files in them is usually far too small. Not the text, the box size.

I know how to drag it larger manually. But when I do that Windows doesnt seem to remember that as my preferred size

Is there a way to change the default size of these dialogue boxes? I tried the resolution and the scale increases -- but that changes too much other text in the computer system. I just want the dialogue box to typically open to a larger size....thats all.

Any help would be appreciated!!

• Click on "Windows logo" and select "Settings".
• Select "System".
• You can change the font size here.

Follow the steps to go to Control Panel:

• Type "Control Panel" in the search bar.
