Windows 10: How do I install a new windows ten operating system on new hard drive?

Hi, i want to know the steps to:

1: methods to finding my windows license/product key.I've hard cmd prompt has a way, but I'm not sure

2: what amount of usb capacity do i need to get the installation software, where do i get it. And how would i install it to the new hard drive?.

3: are the product keys and windows license the same? I heard i need a product key, but others say i need to find the windows 10/8/7 license code If not. How would i get the license/product key asked in #1?

P.s: i will be keeping my old hdd with no files deleted as an extra storage space for recording and writing filestext files or game files mostly and to fetch some of my old files.

Need help installing a new hard drive

Basically what I'm saying is I want to install windows onto my new hard drive and boot from it
But for windows 7 to recognize that it's a two drive system, as opposed to just replacing the old hard drive entirely with a new one
