then how do I install the driver from logitech for my mouse G502 instead of having the microsft one dated 2006?

no matter what I do to install them, in safe mode with administrator or trying to update from device manager, is just does not install the ones from logitech and keeps the one from microsoft dated from 12 years ago

Use this work around after Home is installed.

Upgrade to Windows 10 Pro using the following default product key:

VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T

After upgrading, proceed to enter the Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate or Windows 8 Pro product key.

Click Start > Settings > Update & security > Activation > Change the product key

Enter the product key, close then restart your computer, it should reactivate automatically.

 

First uninstall the 2006 driver from add/remove programs using the control panel.Then reboot. Then download the G502 mouse software/driver package from Logitech. Then install as normal.

 

The driver is nearly 99% likely to be much newer than 2006. That's a dating convention that MS uses to make sure that the generic drivers it supplies will be supplanted by manufacturers' drivers if they should be available instead. What about looking in Device Manager? What do you see in there? Here's what comes up on my production PC:

No, that has nothing to do with virtualization. Those devices are normal for the Logitech Gaming mice.

The Gaming mouse actually has numerous functions - LEDs, firmware updating, stored profiles, keyboard macros - that regular mice do not. My guess is that Logitech creates these virtual devices in order to make the mouse still work like a normal mouse in Windows.

Does the stuttering happen when you adjust the DPI and Report Rate in the Pointer Settings in the Logitech software?

 

yes, no matter what I change, it always stutter
