MYOB 12 install on Windows 10?

The problem I have is that I cannot install MYOB in compatibility mode. I run the setup program as an administrator. I get a couple steps into the install and I get a "can't write to the registry" error. This kicks me out of setup. If I don't run compatibility
mode on the setup program, I get an error that says MYOB needs to be installed on Windows XP. I can't move forward from there. I have resolved the problem on the original computer in question by reverting back to Windows 8.1. Installing MYOB in compatibility
mode. Then reinstalling Windows 10 upgrade. I prefer not to carry anything from my old OS forward, so I am waiting to upgrade several computers until I can resolve this. If anyone can tell me how to elevate my authority beyond the "run as administrator" pick,
I would appreciate it. Thank you.

I was about to install "virtualbox" and run myob in in there when I discovered pgduncan.61's copy and paste idea. Google virtualbox. It's basically a way of running almost any operating system in windows
10. Then you should be able to instal myob under the XP operating system.
