    How do I install VirtualBox on my device if my Hypervisor-H is not working correctly?


    I have been doing all different kinds of troubleshooting methods to help me get this issue resolve but nothing is working. I have gone into the official VMware forum, enable my virutlization from the BIOS and UEFI, and looked up videos to resolve my issues with downloading this software but nothing is working. Can someone guide me on how I can get VMware 7.1.6 onto my device?

    Activating Windows in a type 2 hypervisor (Virtualbox)

    Hi all, I want to activate my Windows installation on Virtualbox, which is an open source type 2 hypervisor. I am currently running a Linux installation (Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS) as my main OS. I have a windows 10 pro that I purchased through the Microsoft store,
    and Windows 10 home came with the PC. It says on both that they were activated by a digital license on my account. I was able to get windows 10 home activated (Couldn't get pro to activate) on QEMU/KVM (Native Linux type 1 hypervisor) but I can't seem to get
    it to work on Virtualbox.

    My virtualbox version installed from the repos is 5.2.34-dfsg-0~ubuntu18.04.1 (Patched, bug fixed linux version). Most of my research has led me to believe that on a type 2 I will need to purchase another license to be able to activate windows on this, but
    I was wanting to confirm this and see if there was any way to do this without purchasing another subscription.

    VirtualBox problems anyone?

    Anyone else having issues getting VirtualBox to run on this release? (regardless of whether VM/Hypervisor parts are installed or not)
    Pre-this release it was running perfectly fine. After the update, it wouldn't run (same VirtualBox version as before). I've removed it, re-installed it, and did so with a myriad of different settings in Hyper-V and VM as well as BIOS settings for hardware VM support. I even wiped and did a full clean install of this release. Seems it won't run without secure boot / UEFI enabled - that's the only difference between releases. My next step is to wipe and re-enable UEFI/Secure boot. Anyone have any possible suggestions or input before I start the wonderful and magical and oh-so-much-fun re-install process? *twitch* Please? *twitchtwitch*

    hyper v vs virtualbox

    But even simple 3D acceleration does not run correctly on virtual box with 3D enabled. - - - Updated - - -
    So uninstall virtual box is enough to make hyper-v run or there are other steps ?
