Windows 10: How do I jump to a new line in VS Code without pressing enter? details in question

hi,I love the fact that VS Code will autocomplete things like braces etc. I'm trying to just jump then to the next line to continue coding *without* having to take my fingers away from the core keyboard across to the "END" key, and then press enter to get to the next line.If I just press enter, then it splits the line where it is often useful but in this case not wanted.print"hello this has had the autocompleted braces_" <underscore is where the flashing cursor would be>I'm looking for single keypress that would snap to the new line indents etc... without me having to go to the en

cannot turn off jump list

Hi Rohit,

To address this concern, we suggest that you follow these steps on how to turn off the Jump Lists on Windows 10:

• Go to Start menu, search Settings, then press
  Enter.
• Click Personalization.
• Select Start.
• Turn off the Show recently opened items in Jump Lists on Start or taskbar.

I've found that when I try to type a message in a text box on the 5800 when pressing the enter key it doesnt go to a new line like this



It will keep typing on the same line.



Is there some fix? Had I typed this message on my phone the message would look like the following

How to change jump list line spacing

Hi, At some stage the line spacing in my task bar jump lists changed to much wider. I have no idea what caused it: windows, classic shell, advanced system font changer, or some other app?. How can I manually set the spacing? I would like it narrower than it originally was, so I can see more items! Windows 10 pro build 19041.vb_release.191206-1406 HP zbook Thank you
