  1. How do I keep my display zoomed out?

Whenever video playback on my computer becomes choppy, I uninstall the display adaptors from the device manager (NVIDIA and the inbuilt display adaptor) This has the advantage of making the interface feel zoomed out. The icons, task bars etc become much smaller and there's a refreshing sense of space. When my computer starts up again it falls back to the default i.e the adaptors reinstall themselves. (The icon size is already set to the lowest setting)

How do I keep this cool zoomed out display? Preferably, without having to mess with my adaptor settings.

    Thanks in advance.

    :)
