    How do I keep my keyboard from getting scrambled at random?


    I have an ongoing issue when I am trying to type something, and I press keys only to have either nothing happen or random windows including "research" "print," and "save" open instead. When I try to type something into a browser address bar, something else happens instead.


    If I punch a bunch of keys at random, and multiple keys at the same time, the situation eventually goes back to normal. How do I prevent this from happening in the first place, though?

    Surface Pro 2 scrambled keyboard

    So a friend of mine has the Surface Pro 2 and has had it for a few months. Well today the keyboard scrambled pretty badly and we have no idea why.

    Example:
    TechPowerUp becomes ThnbPmihlUs

    Any ideas on how to fix?

    scrambled keys

    its a laptop keyboard and with the scrambling when I press a I get ; and f is j ctrl key is z

    I don't have an external keyboard to plug in and try

    How do I keep my keyboard from getting scrambled at random?

    Keyboard slightly scrambled.

    Did #!. Clicked on Region & language. Reset to English (Canadian). Downloaded English (Canadian) language. Made this the Default language. Removed English (American) then restarted PC. Had to use on screen keyboard to get in again. Checked & keys still
    scrambled as above. Where do I go to see the English (Canadian) keyboard as the default? ........... Looking in Keyboard Properties, Hardware, Events... "(date & time)" "Device Configured (keyboard.inf)". In the Information box below is "Device ACPI\PNP0303\4&22c9bb75&0
    was configured" ..... Can this event be tracked by Microsoft?
