Windows 10: How do I keep my pc on 2.4ghz band?

Hello, I have a PC in a room that is, for some reason, really bad with 5ghz reception. The signal pulsates, and it even causes issues on my phone. I have a lot of Zoom meetings I attend per day, and continuous wifi connection is crucial. However, my pc decides that 5ghz is a better band, it goes to that, even though I want it to stay on 2.4. How do I make it so my pc stays on 2.4? I have a USB wifi adapter by the way.

Before we proceed further, let us know the model name of the Lumia Device you are using.

Follow the below methods and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Method 1

For the calls and emails/text messages notification issue please check under settings that the Bluetooth is turned On. The tile for the notification on the Band should be On too. Please see this

link for assistance.

Method 2

If it still does not help, I suggest you to unregister, remove the Band device from the pairing list and re-add it.

• Step 1: Unregister your Microsoft Band from your phone
• Step 2: Remove your Microsoft Band from your phone’s list of paired Bluetooth devices
• Step 3: Reset your Microsoft Band
• Step 4: Set up your Microsoft Band again

Unable to see MS Band 2 on Lumia 950

I have the latest update but found the answer when I looked at this link:-

It looks as though the MS Band doesn't de-register the existing band and as a result doesn't show up in the phones Bluetooth list. I'm not sure what step in the linked list I'd taken when the phone/band appeared and sorted itself out - but it did, so if
anyone else has the problem it's worth repeating the steps in the link.

Because the band was out of sync with the Steps recorded on the phone and I couldn't find a way of making the steps = the phone. However, next day when the band reset itself they were all in sync again. Microsoft should probably sort this out - especially
as changing bands/phones is quite common - but it's working now which was my main concern.

 

Band 2 Pairing-Windows Phone

Okay. New day and I have calmed down a bit. Reset my band 2, reinstalled the MS Health App, Paired the band 2 to my phone. No issues and shows connected. Launch MS Health App and it shows my last sync data (from the V10) and select Add Band. Select Band
2. Then the Pair your Band search screen shows up where the App is looking for my Band and you are to select it from the list. Nothing there. Hit Try Again many times and the App still cannot find my Band 2. It is clearly paired to my phone already. This is
my mystery. And misery.
