    How do I keep the changes that I make to the detail columns stay after I customize the folder?


    I customize a folder for music, and change the columns to year album and so on. When I exit the folder it returns back to original detail columns.Is there a way that I can make a Music folder template?

    why won't column headings in File Explorer (Windows 10) stay the way I set them??

    Hello,

    To resolve the issue with column heading on File Explorer, we suggest to follow the steps below:

    • Click on the View Tab.
    • Click Folder Options.

    • Click Apply to all folders.

    my mailbox display no longer shows my folders and I cannot change the columns to display choices or messages

    My e-mail display has changed and I can no longer get multiple columns nor the list with folders, I previously was able to get three columns now I cannot change the view …..cannot find any help from the MS Edge or display suggestions

    Help -- how do I return to my previous settings and display

    Change Format of Folder Column in Windows Explorer to just <path>?

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    There is no option to change what is displayed in the Folder column, but you can display the path to the file.

    Right click any column header in File Explorer, then click More and turn on the 'File Location' column from the resulting list.
