  1. How do I keep the File Save Screen to maintain the size I open it too?

When saving a file I have to open the Save File screen wide enough to show all my files/folders. How do I set the screen size to show all my files/folders every time I want to save a file.

    :)

    NotePad opens saved files minimized

I also found this suggestion to also work on previously saved txt files.

"Now, grab the corners of the window and drag it to full screen size. Close the window using File:Close, or File:Exit depending what program you're in. Windows will remember the last screen size used the next time you open the program. –"

In other words, open the saved txt file and just stretch it to desired size and then click on EXIT and when it's reopened it will remember the size you had stretched it too....

  3. rar files opens directly without save

    Hello friends,
    I've one query..
by mistake i selected option "open this type of file directly" while downloading one rar file from my browser.

After than if i click on any rar file link or attachment in forum, regardless of size it opens directly without asking to save to any path option..

    how to revert this change?

  4. How do I keep the File Save Screen to maintain the size I open it too?

    Maintain Explorer Column Sizing

Is there a way to get the Windows Explorer to maintain the column sizes I set for them, especially for Word ad Excel files?

I open the explorer, have it "Size All Columns To Fit" so I can read longer file names. Next time I open the Explorer, not only does it not open at the size I left it after sizing to fit, the "Name" column shrunk back down to some default size ...

Why does this happen? I could understand if I added a new longer filename at some point and the Explorer doesn't resize larger, but why does it automatically resize smaller. This seems a lot of pointless work ...

Is there a (preferably global) solution to this?

    Thanks!
