how do i know if my power supply or drivers is the reason for my pc crashing?

Recently my pc started to crash and i would have to force shut it down, so when i check in reliability monitor it says it was caused by either LiveKernelEvent 141 or 117. I've ran a chkdsk and it repaired corrupted files, i've done a memory diagnosis and no errors found, i uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers. It crashed less frequently after that but occasionally my pc still crashes. I also used "whocrashed" and it said that theres a corrupt file in minidump but theres no files. I'm not sure what else to do

    :)

  2. IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Equal whenever I dis/connect the power supply

    Hi Mikky,

To get better clarity on the issue, kindly answer the questions below:

    • Have you installed any software or programs on your computer prior to this issue?
    • What was the last thing you have done on your computer before this issue happened?
Since this issue occurs every time you connect or disconnect the computer to the power supply, we suggest you run the Power troubleshooter. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • On the Start menu, type Troubleshooting.
    • On the left-side, click View all.
    • Select Power and run the troubleshooter.
If the issue persists, then probably the issue is with a faulty driver. Kindly installed the latest chipset driver for your computer. For better assistance on installing the right driver, we suggest you to contact your PC manufacturer.

Should you need further assistance, feel free to get back to us.

Computer Keeps Crashing with BSOD - DRIVER POWER STATE FAILURE message - PLEASE HELP

That dump file also lists the Nvidia driver nvvhci.sys as the driver causing your crashes, is it possible a UPS is causing these crashes, yes, definitely, disconnect that Uninterrultable Power Supply form your PC and see if Windows is stable . . .

how do i know if my power supply or drivers is the reason for my pc crashing?

Lost Power, now PC won't boot. Powers on and clicks.

Hope for sure it is the Power Supply without testing it and the checking the Graphics Card.
