Windows 10: How do I know if my WiFi card replacement worked?

So, I have the ASUS TUF15 Gaming Laptop and the old WiFi card was not working anymore so I switched it to a AX210. I am still unsure if I connected the white and black WiFi cables correctly because that was impossible but they didn’t move so I think I am ok. So, after the replacement, I screw everything back in and turn on my laptop and it connects to the internet and when I go to the driver it says it’s the new AX210 one but, I didn’t install any intel drivers from the internet and in the guide to it said I should. So I try to go onto the internet but the WiFi is so painfully slow that eventu

WiFi not working after replacing WiFi card [BCM94352HMB]


This is my first time posting so i hope its in the right place. Here it goes:

I have just replaced my WiFi card from (BCM943228HMB) to BCM94352HMB. Before replacing my WiFi card i done the following:

1. Made computer boot in safe mode with networking.

After that i replaced the card, then booted into windows 10 (safe mode with networking) and checked device manager. Everything was OK (See attached picture). I then tried to turn on WiFi, but it does not turn on. Any help is appreciated.

Laptop WiFi card replacement

Where I stand now:

• I have ordered an exact replacement WiFi card (new, $5 with shipping!) and it is due in next week.
• The laptop owner has to go back home today, so this experiment will be on hold for a bit. I will revive the thread when I get some results.
• Please keep the thoughts and info coming though!
• If this were my laptop I would be doing all kinds of Frankenstein experiments, but alas.....
• If the replacement card does not work I am going to push her towards the dongle solution.
• If I get test antennae, and they correct the problem, I may still push the dongle. Finding new OEM replacement antennae has been difficult so far. I've only found used ones on EBay. Not going that route.
