    How do I leave the elevated mode


    I have windows 10 home and I’m the only user. I recently restored my machine and now Word and Adobe CS 3 will not operate unless I open as administrator. In addition, Dragon Naturally Speaking 13 says it will not operate in elevated mode. How do I get my programs to open up normally like they used to.

    elevated mode

    While trying to correct error 0x80070057 it is suggested trying chkdsk /r which requires the elevated mode to run. How do I get into this mode?

    I turned on elevated mode on my computer and to avoid complications running things in the future I would like to know where I can turn off the mode because I forgot where it is.

    When I run chkdsk /r I get the message " Access denied as you do not have sufficient privelege: you have to invoke this utility running in elevated mode
