how do i log into a computer when i am not getting a verification code?It is my sons computer and we can no longer log into it. They say they are sending a code to the email but it never turns up. not sure what to do now.

Not getting verification code what can I do?

Hello Dhruva,

I see you've already followed some steps.

I was reading your answers and I have a suggestion for you.

I once tried to get a verification code on my phone and it said the code was sent but I never received it.

I updated the messaging app and it still didn't help.

I followed some other steps and it didn't help.

My only solution was to remove my SIM Card and put it in another old phone that I no longer used and asked to resend the code and then the verification code arrived perfectly.

This might be a solution for you.

Cant log in because can not get verifikation codes because two steps verification

Hi,

I'm an Apple user, iPhone etc.

I buy Microsoft 265 business and started a new microsoft account with two steps verification and log in with authenticatior on iPhone.

Problem started after I by a new iPhone and had now security back up on iCloud.

So this is what happens when I try to log in:

1 Add my account name

2 Add my password

3 They want me to add the number from the authenticator.

4 I can't use the authenticator because I can not log in to the authenticator.

5 Then the only other method to log in is with a verification code that I only can get from the authenticator, but as I can not log in I can not get any verification code.

So the mistake I have done is that under settings for two steps verification I have only authenticator - not mail adress or telephone.

So this is like moment 22... how the f***k can I solve this...

I have try to find how to contact live support.... but that is impossible...
