    How do I make a mods folder using forge in Minecraft on windows 10?


    I just upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10. On windows 7, I opened up forge, and there was a button that said, "Ok," and it would install forge. It was easy. Whenever I open it it wants me to choose a file. Someone told me 7zip but whenever I open that it comes up to a page. All I need is to know how to make a mods folder from forge.

    Can you mod Minecraft VR version?

    Can you add mods to minecraft (mainly via forge) with the VR? i dont know if you can add shaders or mods to it. Couldnt find any awnser so i posted here. Sorry to bother of i posted in the wrong section.

    How do I make a mods folder using forge in Minecraft on windows 10?

    You need to install java runtime environment, a fresh install of it, it will then associate Jar files with the java installer. you can get it here: Java SE Runtime Environment 8 - Downloads.

    Just choose the version of windows you're using (64 bit or 32 bit) and choose the EXE file you need.

    After doing this, it'll work just like windows 7 did before.
