Windows 10: How do I make it so that one notch of a mouse scroll wheel turns the page in document viewers?

OK I finally upgraded to Windows 10 from 7 but there's one thing that is annoying me that I can't find any solution or even anyone else describing the problem.

In Windows 7 when I moved the mouse scroll wheel one notch down the document would go to the next page in Adobe PDF viewer or any ebook reader but in Windows 10 it does this every 2 notches that I move.

I tried changing the "Roll the mouse wheel to scroll" one screen at a time or multiple lines at a time. That's not it. I still want the scroll to work normally when I look at web pages but for documents that are being viewed by single pages I want the mouse wheel to go to the next or prev page with one notch of the wheel up or down.

Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks!

Mouse scroll wheel now scrolls sound volume instead of document pages. How do I get it back to normal; why did it happen inadvertently?

Mouse Scroll Jumps

Hello Nate,

It is possible that the Vertical Scrolling is set to a higher numeric value. To assist you with your concern I would suggest checking the Vertical Scrolling to isolate the issue. Just follow these steps to isolate the issue.

• Press the Windows key and go to Settings.
• Click Devices and go to Mouse.
• Click on Additional mouse options.
• Click on the Wheel tab.
• Put a bullet on Roll the wheel one notch to scroll and change the numeric value to 2 or 3 (Depending on your preference.)
• Click Apply, then OK.

Check if this will resolve the issue.
