Windows 10: How do I make my Logitech M570 mouse and K350 Keyboard defaults?

My MS office 2016 defaults to MS mouse/keyboard even if not connected. How do I set my Logitech M570 and K350 as default devices?

Logitech M570 Trackball Wireless Mouse Right Clicking?


I have several M570's on the go here, and other Logitech keyboards etc that all use the Unifying reciever. I don't install the Logitech software. I do sometimes install just the Unifying utility if I have to link or unlink a device to the dongle. All my Logitech stuff works with the basic Windows 10 drivers. The only things that don't work are those Blue special keys on my Keyboards.
I have had the micro switches go bad on my M570's from time to time. Mostly because I play FPS games with my M570. I just bought an inexpensive Logitech mouse and robbed it of its click switches. Then replace the bad one in my M570 with the good one from the mouse. I'm a retired electronic technician so its not a big deal for me to do that. Saves me buying another M570. I think I've replaced one button in each of the two I own. I get multi clciks when they go bad. I press the mouse button once and get a double click etc. I don't remeber it clicking all on its own though. Or sticking on (clicked).

 

Logitech track ball does not perform a cut, copy, or select

My Logitech Unifying receiver is paired to a K350 Keyboard, a M310 Mouse, and a M570 Trackball. The mouse and keyboard work correctly, but the left button of the M370 trackball only works intermittently. Holding down the left button to highlight a word
or a line causes the highlight to begin, but then the start point jumps to the current position of the cursor. Left clicking on a box or icon does not make the selection.

I have changed the batteries and re-paired the trackball, but that did not fix the problem.
The M310 Mouse left button works normally.

 

Logitech mouse M510 not working with Windows 10.

I just bought a Logitech MK550 Combo: Logitech K350 wireless keyboard + Logitech M510 wireless mouse.

The wireless keyboard works, but the wireless mouse does not.

(Win 10) In the Device Manager section (mice), I can see the entry "Logitech HID - Compliant Unifying mouse."

When clicking on the properties, it says "The device is working properly."

Actually the device (wireless mouse) is NOT working - when I move the mouse, the mouse pointer does not move.

Weird stuff, isn't it?
