Windows 10: How do I make my PC description display as 32-bit instead of 64-bit for a prank in regedit?

If possible tell me the name of a pentium 3 proccesor for regedit aswell.

32 bits instead of 64 bits

Hello,

After 2 months of hesitations, I have agreed to upgrade my Windows 7 pro to Windows 10 pro.

Unfortunately, it upgraded to win 10 pro 32 bit instead of 64 bit. My Win 7 was 32 bits.

As I was already considering upgrading to 64b since my pc is fully compatible, upgrading now for a 32b is quite disappointing.

> Is there any way to reinstall W10 but the 64 bits (I was not prompted to chose during the install)?

> If not, can I reinstall my W7 to where it was?

32 bits instead of 64 bits

I don't know why you would expect the upgrade of a 32-bit OS would be 64-bit. Changing architecture requires a clean installation and the free offer is for an in-place upgrade. You can use the
Media Creation Tool to install the 64-bit version, but it will need to be a clean installation.
