Windows 10: How do I make my standard account to administrator account with no admin account on my PC?

Hey there, it's been like 7 months since I built this computer, completely fine, just Windows 10 is giving a hard time. A month ago, a problem occurred. The problem is that my account changed to a standard account, even though it was an admin account, and now I can't download or install anything. My school is going to start soon, I didn't get to play my games, and I won't be able to install any software for school, such as Zoom. I tried everything, such as CMD prompt, netwitz, or how ever you spell it. It asks "Do you want this app to make changes to your computer?" and it doesn't show the yes button. It says to type in the admin password, but there is no option to type it in, because I have no admin account on this computer. I don't know what to do, I tried reinstalling windows and keep my files, but nothing worked. I even went in the cmd prompt in safe mode to make my account admin and didn't work. I have many laptops in my house with accounts with admin, no one I know had this problem. I think this problem happened when I added an account to my computer to get a game for free. Please help me. <3

Local Admin Account vs standard Account


The first account you create, during setup of Windows 10, is a member of the "Administrators Group" by default. It is not "The Administrator" though, it is still subject to User Account control Etc. That's for protection from malware etc. Clicking "Run as Administrator" elevates it to the full administrator. That's what you want, and is fine for most people. Any subsequent account created can be an Administrator or Standard User. This has nothing to do with Outlook.com. It's local privileges/permissions. An account setup as Standard user will be prompted for an Administrator Password if they click "Run as Administrator". If the only account setup on that PC is a Standard User (because you deleted the other Admin users) you won't be able to do much. Run as admin won't work as you won't have any valid password to enter. The built in system administrator account is hidden and disabled by default.

I Have tried in the past running with just a Standard user Account. For me, It got old very quickly having to actually type the password in for the other (admin) account every time you have to use "Run as Administrator'.

 

Is there still reason to use standard user account in Windows OS?

Suppose I'm the only user of the computer. Suppose I have User Account Control activated. Is there or are there still reasons to create and use standard user account for everyday work? As far as I understand, with User Account Control active I have the permissions of a standard user even if I'm logged on as an administrator. If I use administrator account for everyday work does User Account Control give me EXACTLY the same level of protection from viruses and malware and from making accidental system-wide changes as standard user account with active UAC? I don't imply that UAC protects me from viruses and malware. I use proper antivirus software for that.

In other words, do I get the same level of protection when I use administrator account with UAC enabled and when I use standard account with UAC enabled? Is it true that UAC turns an administrator account into what is know as a protected administrator account, basically, an administrator account that runs with standard user account privileges? Or does standard user account with UAC enabled gives me yet higher level of protection over administrator account with UAC enabled?

UAc only puts prompts on the screen. Guest/standard acount have many settings disabled. Which those settings are adjusted by the admin.
