Windows 10: How do I make pictures and videos look like they’re all from the same date

So what I mean by that is on my phone I have a gallery and also Google's photos and when I upload the pictures they take it from the date they were taken or downloaded so how can I make the files look like they’re all from the same date so they are all together instead of the other specific dates

Quick Access not searching Pictures folder

Summary, that last suggestion didn't work.

• I moved the pictures to another folder temporarily.

• Then I tried to remove the Pictures folder with option one at Add or Remove Folders from This PC in Windows 10 | Windows 10 Tutorials. Even after rebooting, the Pictures folder remained.
• So I tried using option two. Same thing: reboot >> Pictures folder still there.

• Since there were no troubleshooting steps for this scenario, just for the heck of it, I ran through the restore steps. Copied some pictures into the Pictures folder, ran a Quick Access search and initial problem remains: Searching all of QA doesn't find any files in Pictures folder, running search on just the Pictures folder does. I want to run a global search and find matching files in any/all of the Documents, Music, Videos, and Pictures folders.

That article dates from 2015 and I'm guessing is out of date. I hope it didn't create potential future problems in my registry.

Bottom line: I'm still looking for a fix.

 

Grouping pictures by month or actual date in Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the below steps for sorting the pictures in date wise and check if it helps.

• Go to “file explorer” and open it.
• Right click on the picture screen.
• Click on “group by” option and go to more options.
• Check the box “Date” and click on “Ok”

Windows 10 import picture and video using wrong date created

Okay, I think there seems to be a misunderstanding, these are whatsapp pictures so there is no date taken or EXIF data. Additionally, there is something strange happening now because since 2 days ago, I was looking through more pictures and I found out that the date modified were a few minutes apart from the date created with other pictures. And by physically looking through each picture (destination was at night at a restaurant with family cousins and friends), it seemed like the date modified was mixed up so stupid me, i went and downloaded several programs and tried to use these softwares to import and copy whatsapp photos to my C drive. Shortly after, by using MTPdrive again, the date(s) have changed again!!!! Now the dates say:

for example, image filename IMG-20191105-WA0018.jpg,





and when copied to my C drive, using vice versa pro, the dates become,





There is something stranger also, by comparing the date and time from when they're importing on the C drive, to the original photo on my note 8 phone, the time difference is EXACTLY 5 HOURS.





By looking at the time difference on this website:




https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/converter.html it seems like these two times are 5 hours apart exactly from UTC time. So it seems that one of the programs is either changing MTPdrive to display UTC time and not the date modified of the photo thats originally from my phone OR there's something wrong with windows OR something has changed... Any solutions or thoughts on this ?
