Windows 10: How do I make the Microsoft news popup stop permanently?

After last night's update, there is a news pop-up that runs on my screen that is very annoying. I see how to minimize it but I want it GONE. I don't want to see the news when I start up my laptop! When I right click on the task bar, I do not get the News and Interests option. Please advise.Also, since this update, the shortcuts to my e-mail accounts and other bookmarks are gone. I don't like turning on my computer to work and find that all my stuff has been rearranged. * Moved from Community Center

Prevent the popup "Get the new Microsoft Edge"

I have Microsoft Edge and I do use it. However my default browser is Firefox. Every day when I first open Firefox I get a popup saying "Get the new Microsoft Edge". A common suggested solution is to turn off 'get tips, tricks and suggestions as you use Windows'; however, this is set to off by my company (it being a work laptop). Does anyone have another suggestion?
