Windows 10: how do i make the taskbar news icon just open the weather forecast

I want to see weather in my taskbar, so i enabled the news feature, which gives a nice little temperature thing on my taskbar.Unfortunately when I click on the icon to learn more about the current weather, I'm bombarded by a wall of garbage clickbait news articles from MSN, which i don't want to see ever.I went to the "manage interests" settings and unchecked every single interest, but unfortunately I still see a bunch of useless garbage when i click the button.Is there any way to fix this, or perhaps a 3rd party software that isn't as spammy as microsoft products?

i have a nokia C7 and my Nokia weather app doesnt work anymore.

i can open it but there is no weather forecast available ??

 

News and Weather widget won't open

Since yesterday the News and Weather widget has failed to open when I click on it. It does update the temperature and weather conditions, but it won't open to view the forecast and news. As far as I know I haven't changed any settings. Any suggestions? Thank you.

 

No weather icon in taskbar after new update

Hello everyone,

After installing the new update KB5010414, no new weather icon appeared on the left of the taskbar. I have tried these steps to solve these problem :

• Disable task from the taskbar
  
• Reinsall Windows Feature Experience Pack from powershell
  
• Reinstall the KB5010414 update
  

But neither of those helped to solve the problem. I think this is a bug. How can I figure it out ? I do not use beta, dev, preview channels.
