Windows 10: How do I make the Windows 11 touch keyboard stop moving every time a text field appears?

How do I make the windows 11 touch keyboard stay in one spot have it open in my second screen and that's where I want it to stay in the position I've put it in and not move just because a text field opened.I know how to open it, and I know how to make it go away and never open again if I want. Those aren't the I questions I'm asking but that's all I get every time I search this online. I just want to make it stay put. And I'd rather not use the other one in the accessibility menu if I don't have to.... this one's prettier

Windows 11 Touch Keyboard will not appear

Two days ago I received my new Surface Studio laptop. After playing with it for two days, I realized that I have never been able to get the touch keyboard to appear. I have the icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the taskbar, but touching/clicking it does nothing. In tablet mode (screen folded over keyboard) nothing appears when I touch any input, be that the browser address bar, or the search icon on the taskbar.

I have done a restart, and have looked all over the internet, trying some suggestions for windows 10, but there is nothing for windows 11, and nothing that has resolved this issue for me.

Hovering over the touch keyboard icon briefly shows the help text "Touch Keyboard" but it disappears really quick, even if the mouse is not moving. Meanwhile, if I hover over any of the other icons in that corner, the help text stays up without disappearing.

Update: Turns out this is not the only issue I am having. Snip and Sketch fails when you try to take a new sketch. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app package for that, but no change. I am worried I have bigger issues.

 

Touch keyboard lacks autocorrect, Word Flow, etc. in certain apps and text fields

The touch keyboard in Windows 10 has some pretty great features such as autocorrect and Word Flow, but as far as I can tell, the only place where both of these features work is Discord on Edge.

In Sticky Notes, Word, and most other websites in Edge, Word Flow works, and the keyboard shows word suggestions on the top, but there's no autocorrect. In Chrome and Sublime Text, there's no word suggestions, autocorrect, or Word Flow. Here's what I'm experiencing with Word Flow:

It's rather frustrating for me that autocorrect and Word Flow don't work in so many apps. How can I enable these features even when the specific app or text field apparently isn't configured to support them?
