How do I make "Voice to text work" properly in windows 10? I have been asking this of Microsoft for a few tears. No positive results.

How do you change the text to speech voice in a (Windows) vbscript?

Hey guys,

I'm trying to create a text to speech vbscript. The problem I'm having is that I can only select between 3 voices. I have 8 available in Windows 10.

Here is my code:

word 2010 text to speech cannot change voice


Hello

I have enabled text to speech on Windows 10 and have selected MS David desktop voice and it seems to work fine when I test it however when I use text to speech on Word 2010 the voice is always that of MS Hazel desktop and I do not seem to be able to change it. Any suggestion?

Voice recognition doesn't work (Windows 10)

I warmly thank you again for trying so hard. But, all the steps you mention, and took pains to illustrate so well here, I've gone through them many times.
About your first and second scree shots, yes I get that Speech Recognition Icon; and yes, in both states: waiting and activated; and yes, when it's activated and I speak, the little vertical blue bar indicating volume does go up and down properly according to my voice. But nothing gets typed in my WordPad or Word or Notepad or Excel or whatever text receiving app.
About your third screenshot, whenever I go to those options, it never goes beyond selecting the microphone and testing it as properly catching the sound of my voice, which it does. But the next step -exercices for training the system to my way of speaking- does not work.
About your last screenshot, allowing the apps to access the micro, I've done that too, tried all possible options, to no avail.
Finally this: I have Windows 10, the computer is an all new HP Notebook 15; and I've had chats with people from Microsoft who have accessed my computer remotely, and worked on my settings; and they have even reinstalled my Windows 10 anew. And nothing corrected!
