    How do I make Win 11 Ent use the Virtual Memory more than my Physical and GPU RAM?


    Hail all:I use quite heavy graphical programs.Often, my Phys. and GPU RAM is filled to the nock.Now, how can I make Windows use my V-Mem more than it does?I have 32GB RAM, 8GB GDDR6, I placed 64 GB on a fast SSD as Virtual Memory set as 8GB min to 64GB max.Been looking on Google, but yeah, GOOGLE ... .140% adds and no hits for my inquiry.Typical.Thank you.Ben

    Windows uses half my physical RAM for Virtual

    This happens in both 10 and 11. If I do a fresh install, it does not set up virtual memory reservations but appears during Windows Updates.

    This is not a task or program Task Manager shows 12% RAM use

    MSINFO shows:

    Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 64gb

    Total Physical Memory 63.7gb

    Available Physical Memory 55.8gb

    Total Virtual Memory 73.2gb

    Available Virtual Memory 63.2gb

    Page File Space 9.5gb

    I have unplugged the RAM sticks, moved them to different slots, and used different combinations with the same 50% allocation to virtual in all instances.

    Virtual vs Physical Memory?

    I am running Windows 10. Physical memory [RAM] is 3 GB with 1.9GB available physical memory. Virtual memory is set at 5GB. Is this ratio of each type of memory ok for the Windows 10 set up?
