Windows 10: How do I maximize windows on a secondary display without being hidden under MSI Afterburner?

Hi,

I'll try my best to explain this, see images I've attached.

I use MSI Afterburner's "hardware monitor" and drag it to my second monitor so I can monitor my PC at all times. On this secondary monitor, if I try to maximize a window, the window will maximize to fit the entire display. The problem is that it is hidden underneath my MSI AB Hardware Monitor.

I want to have the Hardware Monitor on top (at top level) at all times and have windows maximize against it.

Are there any solutions to achieving this easily? Please note - you cannot use Aero Snap (or whatever it's called in Win 10) to lock the Hardware Monitor to one side of the display and select another window to open side-by-side.

My only workaround is the obvious basic one - manually resizing windows and dragging it to fit.

Note:

MSI AB is my preferred monitoring application and the only one I am interested in using for real-time monitoring. I've used others, but I prefer MSI AB for my purposes.

Windows 10 and MSI afterburner + battle.net desktop app crash

I've noticed that If I have MSI afterburner 4.1.1 running and try and run Battle.net desktop app to play a game Battle.net will crash. If I close down msi afterburner it loads fine and runs. This is on win10pro x64 and an upgrade install from win 7 pro.
I've tried disabling the riva tuner 64bit option and it still crashes it.

There seems to be a conflict in win10 between battle.net and msi afterburner or riva tuner.

I made some color changes to the MSI Gaming Afterburner skin by Drerex Design by uncompiling the original and using Gimp to change the 83 png picture files for the UI, and making hex value changes in the header file(instruction on how to do it is included with afterburner as a PDF written by @Unwinder here:




I originally posted the first one in the Hardware thread, but it really belongs here, so:

1. download it,
   
2. right click and unblock in properties,
   
3. unzip it,
   
4. then copy it to C:\Program Files (x86)\MSI Afterburner\Skins
   
5. Open Afterburner, and select it.
