Windows 10: How do I move my retail Windows license from my old PC to my new PC?

I walked into a store in Canada and bought a tiny box with a retail version Windows key in it and installed that on my PC a few years ago. I now bought a new PC and want to move that Windows license from my old PC to my new PC. I have both PCs turned on right now. Both PCs are logged into my Microsoft account. I can see my old PC when I try to use the troubleshooter to migrate a Windows license, but my new PC does not show up even though it is logged into my Microsoft account. What am I doing wrong?Thank you.

Transfer of Windows 10 Pro Retail License from old PC to a new PC

I had purchased a Windows 7 PC, and upgraded my PC to Windows 8 Pro during the upgrade offer by purchasing a Windows 8 pro license. Now I would like to transfer my license to another PC because i am thinking of disposing of my old PC. My digital license
is linked to my Microsoft account. Please tell me the steps to transfer my license. Please note that I ran the script manager and it says I have a Retail License.

 

Cannot transfer Windows license to new PC

I will reiterate:

• On my old PC I had Windows 10 Pro. I bought a digital license for it 3 years ago from the Microsoft store. In the Activation page it clearly says: "Windows is activated with a digital license linked to your Microsoft account". When I run "slmgr /dlv" from an admin cmd, it clearly says that it's a retail key, not OEM.
  
• I did a fresh install of Windows 10 Pro on my new PC. When I try going through "Activation > Troubleshoot > I changed hardware on this device recently", my new PC does not show up there. Only my old PC shows up. However it listed on my Microsoft account in the web. So I'm 100% logged in with the same Microsoft account on both devices.
  
• I did a fresh install of Windows 10 Home of my old PC, hoping it would unlink the license from the old PC. It did not.
  

So now using your suggestions: on my old PC, I entered the default Pro key. It upgraded successfully and automatically pulled my old retail key. I'm back at the start.

Also, I would very much like to contact the official customer support, but they don't provide one for my country (Serbia). I cannot enter my phone number and wait to be called.

Hello guys i buyed a retail key for windows 10 pro my Laptop was on Windows 10 home OEM but i will buy a new PC soon so how i can transfer my pro license to my new pc do i need to re enter my key? or only format old pc and sing in on the new PC to update
to pro?
