    How do I move, or re-install, Microsoft Office 2021 from C: to another drive ?


    This question has been asked a number of times, but each time Microsoft changes the install process the method must change as well. Office 2021 uses Clink-to-Run and a user can not define at install time where to install the app. I won't go into my opinion on this, I will simply ask how to move Office to a different drive. My 128GB SSD drive now has only 6GB left because of Office, but my 1TB hard disk has plenty of space. I have tried a couple of suggestions on how to move it, but none work. SO, I am asking again how to address my issue.I read one reply on this site that it was required to Of

    I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    You cannot install Office 2021 to another drive, it must be installed on the system drive for it to function correctly, ig you are short of space on the system drive, then you will need to move some other software to another drive.

    I suggest you to follow the steps provided below:

    • Type “Programs and Features” in the search box and press Enter.
    • Check if Microsoft Office application is listed in the list of installed applications.
    • If it is listed, then navigate to This PC>Local disc (CHow do I move, or re-install, Microsoft Office 2021 from C: to another drive ? :)>Windows.old.
    • Check if the Office application is present there.
    • If still not found, then suggest you to install the application using the installation media.
