Windows 10: how do i move some of my storage that is on drive C over to my Drive D?

I'm having an issue with too many things being stored on my C drive, and I want to move them to drive D, but I'm not sure how or which items are best to move. Right now, a lot of the tasks I'm trying to do are failing because of a storage issue. I just set it up so that everything I do from now on will be stored on drive D, but that doesn't solve the current problems I’m facing.

Storage Settings Won't Download to Default D Drive

On Windows 11, I changed the default storage drive (from C: to D in "Settings>>System>>Storage>>Where new content is saved", however Windows continues to install all apps in C: drive. Any suggestion?

 

Swapping C and D drives

Hello, I know there are lots of topics about changing C and D drive but none seem to be the exact issue I am having.

I just got a new laptop for work and I have two SSDs. C drive is 2 TB and the D drive is 1TB. I work within dropbox with very large project files and previously I have only had dropbox files save to the D drive and had the C drive to do everything else. What I want to do is have the 2TB of storage for the D drive and the 1TB of storage for the C drive. Is it possible to to be able to move the default program/start up files to the D drive and then swap drive letters?
