Windows 10: How do I open a .mix file?

I have looked off and on for several years to figure out how to be able to just view the 3 .mix files I have. They are extremely sentimental to me and I would really like to solve this issue. As it was exclusively a Microsoft file type, there should be some way to convert or just view them. I know it was made on the "PhotoDraw" program and this is no longer supported. I have also tried various online conversion websites and have found no solutions. Microsoft technician, please help me with a solid solution!

What App to use to open a .mht file?

I downloaded the MHTViewer from the Windows Store but it won't open my Windows Steps Recorder files.

I would appreciate very much another suggestion that can view a .mht file that has pictures mixed with text.

I suggest you to refer the below steps to resolve the issue.



Step:



Make sure that you have set default program to open jpeg files on the computer.



1. Open Default Programs by clicking the Start button, and then
clicking Default Programs.

2. In Default Programs Click on:



a) Associate a file type or protocol with a program. Use this option to fine-tune default programs based on the file type or protocol.

For example, you can have all .jpg image files open using a specific program, and .bmp image files open using a different program.

b) In the list of file extension look for Jpeg files and make sure that you have program associated with it like Windows photo gallery.

How to open .mix files

Thank you very, very, very much. Way back in 2013 both Digital Image and Polyview were suggested to me by Microsoft Community, but I did not download them at that time. I have now downloaded Digital Image. The .mix files did not show up in the Digital
Image Library. but I managed to place my .mix files all in one folder in My Pictures then rt. click and open with Digital Image and save as a .png file and now that .mix file folder shows up in Digital Image.
