Windows 10: How do I open avast.com when ad.doubleclick.net is blocking the site?

Heya there whos reading this. So the problem is that when i open avast.com is always opens ad.doubleclick.net. How do I fix this?

Google Acquires DoubleClick for $3.1 Billion

How fitting that this was posted by malware (no offence). Cuddly business terminology like "tactical marketing" will not hide what DoubleClick will actually do; unless you have Firefox with NoScipt and AdBlock Plus that is.

It’s a shame that Google is going down this route, but it’s of course the logical step towards increased revenue. Just hope that future ads won't actually be coming from Google's domain, as I would hate to block the best search engine and one of the most innovative companies on the web.

 

Avast VPN blocking Internet connection

As per the issue description you are unable to access internet sites after enabling Avast VPN on your system. This could be if your security software is restricting it to get connected or accessing internet.

So, I would suggest you to Disable Security software temporarily
and see if it brings any difference.



Note: Antivirus software can help protect your computer against viruses and other security threats. In most cases, you shouldn't disable your antivirus software. If you
have to temporarily disable it to install other software, you should re-enable it as soon as you're done. If you're connected to the Internet or a network while your antivirus software is disabled, your computer is vulnerable to attacks.

Method 1

As you are unable to open some websites then, there might be a chance that the website is not compatible to Internet Explorer. So, I would suggest you to open those websites in compatibility view and see if it helps.

  Open Internet Explorer.

  Open website which is getting blocked.

  Press alt key to open tool bar.
  
• 
  Now click on tools.
  
• 
  Then click on Compatibility view settings.
  
• 
  You will see the name of website
  under Add this website, so click on add

  Close the window and restart your computer.

Method 2

If issue still persists you may try to trust those websites by following the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Open the trusted sites

• Open Internet Explorer.
• Press the Alt key to make the tools menu visible.
• In the menu, click Tools.
• Now click Internet Options.
• Go to the Security tab.
• Select Trusted sites.
• Click Sites.

Step 2:

Add the trusted website

• Enter the address of the website you would like to add.
• Click Add.
• Close the opened Trusted Sites and Internet Options
  windows.

Google Inc. announced today a definitive agreement to acquire DoubleClick Inc., a global leader in digital marketing technology and services, for $3.1 billion in cash from San Francisco-based private equity firm Hellman & Friedman along with JMI Equity and management. The acquisition will combine DoubleClick's expertise in ad management technology for media buyers and sellers with Google's leading advertising platform and publisher monetization services.


The combination of Google and DoubleClick will offer superior tools for targeting, serving and analyzing online ads of all types, significantly benefiting customers and consumers:

• For users, the combined company will deliver an improved experience on the web, by increasing the relevancy and the quality of the ads they see.
