How do I open the folder location of a shortcut from search results in file explorer the actual location of the .lnk file, not the target?

File Explorer Search: Results not opening


When I use File Explorer Search in my user folders, the results appear to have lost their association and do not open when I click them.

Before search:




After search for "Get"




Note the icons have gone, the folder is not listed. Clicking the file does zilch.

 

Open File Location now goes to Search Results

Two weeks ago, I was able to right-click on a shortcut and click Open File Location. It would take Windows Explorer directly to the file the shortcut was created from. How can I get this functionality back instead of seeing this huge list of shortcuts
that point to this one file (where I now have to visually search for the file)?

Oh yeah, searching in the file explorer itself seems to not have an issue. Opening file location via that works fine (and it's shown as "open folder location" if it's a folder).

Seems like it's based on a CID of {37ea3a21-7493-4208-a011-7f9ea79ce9f5}. Not like that would help too much.
