Windows 10: How do I permanently disable the left swipe for articles and widgets?

I'm left handed and when writing with the slim pen, I continuously open the widgets causing me to be unable to write. It appears there isn't a way to disable this only disable the widgets not the swipe. This issue makes the device almost unusable for the purpose I purchased if for to take notes as an electronic replacement to a notebook. How can this be disabled and not reintroduced through the continuous Windows updates.

Had the same problem with my Surface 3.

Disable left edge swipe

Hi Microsoft Community

I have a Surface Pro 4 and I'm left handed. This means that whenever I try to write something with the pen, I accidentally activate the swipe gesture to see the open tasks / add new virtual desktop.

This is quite annoying and I couldn't find where to disable this gesture.

Can you give me a hint please?
