    How do I permanently disable Windows Updates?


    I've heard that bad things have been happening with recent Windows updates. Not wanting to risk data loss or other issues, I want to turn off the automatic updates FOR GOOD. I don't want them paused, I want them GONE! I don't trust them at all anymore. How do I disable them?
