Windows 10: How do I permanently remove a driver (HID-compliant touch screen)

I have an Asus ultrabook with a broken touchscreen, it is cracked and randomly touches near the top of the screen every second or so. I had disabled the driver in Windows 8.1 and had no issue. Now that I have windows 10 every-time I reboot it re-enables or re-installs the driver. I have tried both disabling and uninstalling. There is no check-box option to delete the driver permanently as there is for other drivers. The driver is called HID-compliant touch screen. Please help.

touchpad functioning differently on asus zen book after windows 10 update was downloaded

thanks for the tip....but when i expand the 'human interface device', i do not have an 'HID-compliant touch pad' option. i have a 'hid compliant device', a 'hid compliant touch screen', a 'hid compliant vendor defined device', a 'hid compliant wireless
radio controls'.

are any of these the one i should right click on?

 

Touch screen not working on Windows 10

I have an HP Envy and since the Windows 10 update my touchscreen is not working. The is no HID-Compliant touch screen. The options which I have are:

• HID-compliant consumer control device
• HID-compliant headset
• HID-compliant vendor-defined service
• HID-compliant Wireless Button Driver
• USB Input Device
• USB Input Device

I tried disabling and re-enabling HID-compliant consumer control device and HID-compliant vendor-defined service. Neither worked. Do you have any other suggestions?
