    How do I play windows 95 games on windows 11?


    My great grandma gave me 3 different disc versions of close combat and I wanted to play them but every time I try to start them up they either crash or don't load. Are you just not able to anymore?

    Playing a Windows 95/98 game on Windows 8

    I have the game "Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim" that I loved to play. It is compatible with Windows 95/98. How can I get it to play on my Windows 8 laptop?

    I have tried running the compatibility troubleshoot, right clicking and going into the properties of the game and choosing play compatibility with windows 95 and windows 98, running as administrator, etc. I remember being able to make it work before on another
    computer, but I'm not sure what I did.

    I've also tried downloading the DOSBox.

    Any thoughts or help?
