    How do I prevent Speech Recognition from starting up on startup in Windows 11


    I turned on this speech recognition some months ago bc I thought it would be nice.I turns out that it is useless and annoying for me. I can't figure out how to stop it from turning on every time I start my PC.I have checked speech settings to no avail - see attached picture.

    Are facing any issue with speech recognition?

    I would suggest you to follow the steps to see Advance speech options.

    • Press Windows+X key on the keyboard
    • Click on control panel
    • Select speech recognition
    • On the left hand pane you will see Advance speech option

    Try the following steps to uncheck the Run Speech Recognition at startup option from the Speech Recognition:

    • Type Speech Recognition in the search bar and select the Speech Recognition from the list.
    • Click on the Advanced speech options from the left pane.
    • Uncheck mark on Run Speech Recognition at startup.
    • Click on Apply and Ok.

    Win 10 Speech Recognition

    I was going to try the settings one more time as you suggested. However I ran into deadlock even at the first step:



    “…Select the
    Speech Recognition > Set up Speech Recognition     page…”



    No such choice as “Set up Speech Recognition”. How can I send you the screen shot?
