Windows 10: How do I prevent Windows ffrom showing 2 separate task/tab switcher icons for Adobe...

Here is the screenshot of the issue:No matter which of the 2 icons I click, I get the full indesign interface + the document window:so the tab / task switcher will not show them separately, so the 2 separate icons are an overkill and it's just bloating my task switcher.How do I keep only 1 InDesign icon even if my InDesign document window is not docked into the InDesign interface?I am sizing the window to the physical size of my document, that is why is not docked.

Task switcher or Alt+Tab in Windows 10 - not showing all open instances of the same program/ application

Dear all,

I noted that in Windows 10, when using some program/ application with tabs (e.g. in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC or Internet Explorer), say if I have 4 tabs opened, with both Alt+Tab or WIN+Tab; the switcher will not show all 4 instances of tabs opened for me
to switch to; rather, it will only show the last used tab in the switcher.

in such a case, I am not able to switch to all opened instances of the same application by using either Alt+Tab or WIN+ Tab (which is quite inconvenient).

May I know is there any setting in Windows 10 which can allow the app switcher to show all opened instances (even in the same application but different tabs?)

Task Switcher randomly gets stuck cycling windows


Good morning!

I am having an issue with the Task Switcher (see image below) activating on its own. It then begins to cycle through the open tasks very rapidly. When this happens I am unable to actually select any of the tasks, nor can I close them out. Windows is essentially frozen at this point and I have to restart.

A few things to note:

• I am running Windows 10 Pro.
• This happens randomly, sometimes weeks between an incident.
• Sometimes it happens while I am not even working at the computer. I've noticed it after returning to my desk.

Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

 

Show Programs in System Tray in Task Switcher

I am using Task Switcher with the Alt-Tab shortcut to switch between running programs. I have the program AIMP running and it is minimized to the system tray. I would like to be able to use the Alt-Tab shortcut to quickly re-open AIMP, but it appears that Task Switcher does not include programs that are closed to the system tray. Please advise, thanks.
