  1. How do I raise my microphone volume?

I use a wired headset with a microphone built into it and whenever I try to record my voice, the audio from the microphone is very low or none at all. I tried everything I could, including raising recording volume from the control panel, but now it won't pick up audio from my microphone at all. I don't know what the problem is. I've tried countless YouTube videos and nothing seems to be working. I doubt my headphones are the problem, my microphone works on other devices; however doesn't work on my computer. Can someone help me with this issue!- Leilani

    :)
