Windows 10: how do I reach Microsoft Support Assure desk?

I am an assure plan holder. I need to link with live technical support. I do not have contact data - preferably phone.

Assure Support Desk

What's happened to the Assure Support Answer Desk chat facility. I just go round in circles with a virtual assistant and no call backs. What's the point of my subscription. Where am I going wrong?

I checked what I think ia my Microsoft account page and nothing there about Microsoft Assure. Does your account list contact details for someone in Australia. If so I would appreciate details.

Microsoft Desk Assure Support

I can't believe it!

I was notified of renewal of Desk Assure Support for a follow up one year contract. The email could not be replied to. (Terrible service). I went on to my account to cancel it. However, my password was not accepted. I chose the email option to obtain the
code to change my password. I went to my email, but did not get the code. Instead, there was an email confirming payment for one more year! What in the heavens above is going on with Microsoft. I obtained the code to change my password using my mobile phone.
Using the new password I accessed my account to find confirmation of the new payment being made.

Then I wasted time trying to contact someone. I got into the silly round and round the garden, automatic response service. I tried to chat to someone, but, guess what!, I'm in the UK and the service is worked only on American time. How poor is that. I tried
different links. I was advise to cancel. I clicked on cancel and it said to contact customer support as I had just renewed. I tried customer support!!! An so it goes on and on.

The only thing in my favor is my credit card is out of date. However, I expected that it is only a matter of time before my door is bashed in by the bailiffs come to clear the house of furniture to cover the bill.

I resent the time I am spending on this.

I am most unhappy with a company so readily prepared to take my money in such a cavalier fashion and make it so difficult to be contacted. If I could contact Bill Gates personally I would do so, but expect he is far to high up in his Penthouse Suite in the
Sky, untouchable. Yet, I understand he does have philanthropic projects. I'm sure if he was made aware of the terrible service afforded to Desk Assure customers we would be at the head of his philanthropic queue. When I was in business my maxim was, 'You
are only as good as your last customer.' Obviously not a maxim shared by Microsoft.

There are dozens of complaints on the Microsoft Community Website re Desk Assure Support and much useless advice from Microsoft support directing customers to website links that prove useless.

All I want is recognition that my subscription is cancelled without penalty and I will not be hassled over the expired credit card. To do this I have been told to talk to someone, but there is no one to talk to.
