Discus and support how do i reactivate Administator that have been disabled ? in Windows 10 Customization to solve the problem; i've disabled Administator account.     Server administering!

    My gateway server runs headless and I use SSH to connect into it. I administer it from the command line like a good linux admin. *Smile how do i reactivate Administator that have been disabled ? :)

    Server hardware is not meant to give a good visual experience, it's not what it's designed for or meant to do. It's there to let you in, nothing more. In my opinion, the only way to administer a linux server is through the command line through SSH.

    Time to get good at VIM and BASH, buddy. *Stick Out Tongue how do i reactivate Administator that have been disabled ? :p

    Hi,

    To assist you better, I would like to ask some questions:

    • Are you using Microsoft Account or a Local Account?
    • Are you the Administrator of the computer?

    I suggest you to disable the UAC (User Account Control) prompt by following the steps provided below and check if you are able to access the files.

    • In the search bar, type Control Panel and press Enter.
    • Click on User Accounts and again click on User Accounts.
    • Click on Change User account control settings.
    • Provide password for the UAC prompt.
    • Drag the box from Always Notify to Never Notify and click on OK.
    • Provide password for the UAC prompt (if asked again).

    Important: Turning off UAC reduces the security of your computer and may expose you to increased risk from malicious software. We do not recommend leaving UAC disabled.

    Disabling Synaptic touchpad in Windows 10, and why it won't stay disabled. For a left handed person, it is disruptive.

    Hi,

    If you wish to disable your touchpad, I suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below.

    • Press Windows Key +X.
    • Select Device manager.
    • Expand Mice and other pointing devices.
    • Right click on Synaptic touchpad driver and select Disable.
    • Click OK to confirm and check with the issue.
