Windows 10: How do I "really" clear data in Edge?

    How do I "really" clear data in Edge?


    #1 I already clicked the 3 dot button and cleared "everything" so please, please!, don't explain how to do that.

    So, I'm browsing Steam. I scroll half way down and click on the 'New Releases", then I change to the 'New Releases" tab (because you know, that's really what I wanted in the first place but steam took me to popular releases instead because like M$, Google, and every other large company they think I'm too stupid to know what I actually want).

    Then at the bottom of that small list I click the 'All New Releases' button. I end up on this page "Steam Search".

    At the top of the list I see "70,335 results match your search. 1,653 titles have been excluded based on your preferences." but I am not logged in and I supposedly cleared all my browsing data.

    So, something is still sitting on my system telling the website my steam username.

    Win10 Pro 1909
    Chromium Edge 84.0.522.63
    Extensions: Tampermonkey (for google dark), ADBlock Plus, Cookie Autodelete. (Extensions are from the chrome webstore)

    FYI This is specific to Edge, I don't have this issue on Firefox.

    How to clear Browsing Data in Microsoft Edge?

    Hello

    CCLeaner cannot yet clean the cache of Microsoft Edge. You can clean your browsing data by following these steps.

    • Open Microsoft Edge
    • Click on the three little dots on the top right corner
    • Under Clear Browsing Data click on Choose what to clear
    • Then make sure Cache is checked
    • Click on Clear

    One step missing:

    • Open Microsoft Edge
    • Click on the three little dots on the top right corner
    • **Settings
    • Under Clear Browsing Data click on Choose what to clear
    • Then make sure Cache is checked
    • Click on Clear
