RE: I need to recover a lost WordPad document. Im using Windows10.


It was saved properly, and now when i try to open it, its a blank page?? I saved it to my desktop in a couple of different folders.. it seems to have disappeared... I'm a little bit tech challenged , so if you can just direct me where to look so i can recover it , in plain English, plase - not tech-ese i would greatly appreciate it..

Thank you so much..I have tried the program..and it says it saves the recovered text.and when i go to the output file the document is empty.. =(

I think the student will just have to accept the enevitable..:\

Can I create 2 documents in word pad and save them to the same file? I don't have Office.

We would suggest you follow the steps mentioned below and check if it helps.

1. Open word application and click the File tab.
   
2. Click on Info > Manage Document >
   Recover Unsaved Documents.
   
3. A list of unsaved files are shown.
   
4. Look for the file try opening and saving it.
