Windows 10: How do I recover my HDD space after updating

I recently updated my Windows version to 23H2. It is installed on drive C Sabrent M.2. I have a different drive HGST HDD in my computer that is supposed to be 6TB. After updating my Windows version, I noticed that the drive was no longer showing up as it's own drive but now it was attached to my C drive in disk manager. At first it was labeled System Reserved. I formatted it in hopes that I could separate and have the correct amount of space. I assigned a new letter to it and that didn't work. I now just says unallocated 51mb. How do I correct this and regain my correct free space?

HDD in a HDD caddy is not showing up in the disk management

To assist you better, I would like to ask some questions:

• How are you connecting the HDD Caddy?
• What is the make and model of your computer?

If you are connecting the device using USB, I suggest you to check if other USB devices are recognized as USB devices or Other device. If it is displaying as other device, then the issue might be with the USB port. So, I suggest you to update the USB drivers
by following the steps below:

• Press Windows key + X, select Device Manager.
• Expand Universal Serial Bus Controller.
• Right click on the drive, select Update Driver Software and follow the on-screen prompts.
