Windows 10: How do I recover my product key for a windows license?

I recently purchased a license for windows 10 and it says I need to activate windows. I already did this. I went through my order history and cannot find the product code anywhere. The email I received is simply the receipt of the purchase. How can I recover the product key for the license I purchased? I have gone through all of my settings and emails and nowhere can I find the product key. I can verify that I purchased a license. This issue is blocking me from accessing my computer's settings.

How can I recover a lost product key for a windows server 2016 license? I have the proof of purchase that contains the COA (certificate of authenticity) bar code, I would imagine that based on this I would be able to either get the corresponding product
key or a replacement one. The product key was not used on the server as it was never taken out of the envelope that contained it so I can't recover it from the actual server.

There is no need to know or get a new key, but if you have issues with Digital Licensing or the Activation Troubleshooter, you can utilize an existing Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1 product key you already own to
reactivate if necessary. or use the reset function in Windows 10.

Product Key or License Key?

I have a Windows 10 laptop with a Product Key of 25 digits:

xxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx.

Are the Product Key and the License Key the same thing?
