    How do I reduce background processes?


    I bought a new HP Windows 11 laptop and I think the background processes might be slowing it down. CPU 3% Memory 90% Disc 3% hen I try adding a screen shot, it says image not found. Avast Secure Browser has 11 processes running despite only this page being open, and there are a lot of service host processes - which I have no idea what they are for.Any advice to reduce the Memory percentage?
