How do I register .DLL files in a Windows 10 64-bit?

Could not register dll file in windows 10 home single language 64 bit edition.

Could not register dll file in windows 10 home single language 64 bit edition. . I copied the dll file to system32 folder and syswow64 folders. i run this command 'C:\WINDOWS\system32>regsvr DXBControls.dll' from the command which is opened as administrator.

Getting error module ....failed to start

 

Could not register dll file in windows 10 home single language 64 bit edition.

Which program is causing this error? The correct command/file name to register DLLs would be

for 64-bit modules:

C:\Windows\System32\regsvr32.exe <path:\filename.dll>

for 32-bit modules:

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\regsvr32.exe <path:\filename.dll>

.. assuming that the file DXBControls.dll is a legitimate one, and actually exists in the system.
