Windows 10: How do I register my my new mouse (Compact Optical 500) for warranty?

So far the website and the virtual assistant and other website links have not been helpful. Surely this should be easy?

windows 10 optical mouse problem

Just bought a new Laptop/tablet.

Prior to the latest update my USB optical mouse worked fine.

Following the update, that took 5 hours to install, my optical mouse hardly moves the curser.

Right click works and curser only moves diagonely (11 o'clock to 5 o'clock).

Clearly a problem with the update.

Anyone able to suggest a fix?

 

Microsoft Optical Mouse 3000 not working right with Windows 10

Adjustment of the mouse settings in Windows 10 does not seem to affect my mouse (Microsoft Comfort Optical Mouse 3000). I thought maybe I need a new driver, but Microsoft does not seem to support this mouse under their new operating system (Windows 10) (it
is not listed in the drop down menu at https://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-us/d/comfort-optical-mouse-3000 ).

Do I need to get a new mouse?

 

How do I register for the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse warranty

Hi,

I bought the Microsoft Arc Touch Mouse from a retail outlet in Singapore. I tried registering the warranty via the Microsoft Accessories Product Registration at https://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-sg/support/product-registration and there was no option
to register a mouse. The only options are mobile phone and Surface.

Can I ask how long is the warranty for the mouse and how can I register online for the warranty?
